Caribbean Poker

Caribbean poker holds similarities to both blackjack and video poker. The player plays against the dealer, independently of other players. Your goal as the player is to beat the dealer's hand. The exciting aspect of the game is that you can win big when you least expect it. The international payoff standard for a royal flush is 100 to 1.

If Player and the House tie, it is a push and no one wins. Ace and 10 (Blackjack) on the first two cards dealt is an automatic Player win at 1.5 to 1, unless the house ties.

The rules
The player antes, and is then dealt a five-card hand; the dealer is also dealt five cards of which only one is exposed. The player now either folds, losing his ante, or bets an additional amount equal to exactly twice the ante. The dealer then reveals his remaining four cards. If the dealer's hand is not Ace-King or better, the player is paid even money on the ante and nothing (i.e., a push) on the bet.

If the dealer's hand is Ace-King or better it is said to "qualify" (for play against the player). In that case if the dealer's hand is better than the player's, the player's ante and bet are collected by the house. If the dealer's qualifying hand is worse than the player's hand, the player is paid even money on the ante and an amount on the bet according to the player's hand as follows:

A player may stand at any time. For splitting, the player needs to place an additional bet to the amount of the current bet on the hand being split. Split aces are allowed to draw only one additional card. Both Split and Double Down options are available only if the user's account balance permits placing an additional bet. Surrender is allowed with half of bet forfeited after the Dealer checks for a natural--in which case the bet is forfeited.
